Desktop Support Engineer IRT

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount, and the details of the position are:

Job title: Desktop Support Engineer (Renewable contract, Windows, Active Directory)

Helpdesk Support and End-User Services

Manage IT Helpdesk calls and service requests, ensuring all incidents, issues, and requests are properly logged, tracked, and resolved.

Provide technical support to end users by troubleshooting issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, smartphones, and applications.

Support onboarding and offboarding activities for end users.

User and Systems Administration

Administer user accounts, including account creation, deactivation, and the purging of disabled accounts.

Administer printer servers, including printer installation and folder mapping.

Administer email accounts and phone systems.

Infrastructure and Endpoint Management

Manage Windows 11 environments , including monthly patching, operating system upgrades, and system imaging.

Perform hardware troubleshooting and diagnostics for laptops and desktops.

Provide first-level network troubleshooting and administer the guest network.

Administer and support projectors, audio-visual systems, and meeting room equipment

Asset Management, Reporting, and Vendor Coordination

Manage inventory for laptops, desktops, IT peripherals, and software assets.

Prepare slides for weekly team meetings and reports as required.

Coordinate with vendors performing maintenance or recovery work on IT equipment.

Operational Support and After-Hours Duties

Participate in the after-hours duty phone rotation.

Provide support on weekends or outside office hours when required.

Perform ad-hoc IT-related tasks as assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements Diploma in IT or related fields

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in desktop support.

At least 1 year of experience managing and administering Microsoft 365 and Active Directory. With experience of using Active Directory to perform user account management is preferred.

Willingness to work on Jurong Island once a week or as assigned.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central will be an advantage.

ITIL Foundation Certification will be an advantage.
