Java Technical Lead - Capital Markets / Banking Platforms(GM)

Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Java Technical Lead with 10+ years of experience in global financial organizations to architect and lead development of high-performance, resilient enterprise applications supporting Capital Markets(Equity Derivatives Trade Management) and Core Banking (Consumer Banking,Retail, Credit Cards, Cashline) platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable microservices using Java 17, Kotlin, and Spring Boot, leveraging Kafka and concurrent programming to automate trade capture and trade lifecycle management

Lead full-stack delivery efforts, integrating front-end frameworks such as Angular/React with backend services

Drive Agile ceremonies as a Certified Scrum Master, mentoring globally distributed engineering teams and fostering a culture of psychological safety and continuous delivery

Champion modern DevOps practices and incorporate advanced AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) into the engineering workflow

Provide production support (L3) and ensure release management best practices across enterprise-grade systems

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Applications or related field

Strong hands‑on expertise in Java, Kotlin, Spring ecosystem (Boot, Core, MVC, Data JPA, Batch), REST/SOAP web services, and messaging systems (Kafka, Solace)

Proficiency with databases (Oracle, MariaDB, Sybase, Postgres, DB2) and middleware (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere)

Experience with cloud/DevOps tooling: AWS, OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, SonarQube

Certifications such as CSM, Sun Certified JavaDeveloper preferred
