Software Engineer Senior Consultant – AI

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer / AI Engineer with strong experience in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and software development to design, build, and deploy production-ready intelligent solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver AI, Machine Learning, analytics, and Generative/Agentic AI solutions.

Build and integrate AI agents, AI skills, harnesses, MCP integrations, and web applications.

Develop scalable frontend, backend, cloud, database, and data architecture components.

Build reusable engineering solutions with a focus on automation, testing, scalability, and maintainability.

Implement and support CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines.

Work closely with business and technology stakeholders within Agile delivery teams.

Define and assess non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Evaluate and implement suitable database and data solutions in line with enterprise and compliance requirements.

Support product roadmaps, releases, performance testing, monitoring, and continuous enhancement.

Troubleshoot technical issues and continuously improve the performance and reliability of AI applications.

Required Skills & Experience

7+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML or Generative AI applications.

Exposure to Agentic AI, AI agents, LLMs, AI frameworks, open-source AI libraries, or AI tools.

Strong software development experience with Python and/or other modern programming languages.

Good understanding of web application development, APIs, backend services, databases, and cloud platforms.

Experience with containers and orchestration technologies.

Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and Agile delivery.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Ability to take solutions from POC through production deployment and ongoing optimisation.
