Responsibilities

Oversee integration projects, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and performance requirements, while contributing to the IT strategy by leveraging the ESB platform to meet business objectives.

Lead, mentor, and guide a team of integration architects and developers, designing and managing API-led connectivity architecture for scalable, reusable integration patterns, while overseeing the end-to-end design, development, implementation, and documentation of integration solutions.

Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms to enhance the ESB platform's capabilities, while ensuring optimal performance and resolving scalability and performance issues.

Implement security policies such as OAuth, API security, and encryption, and drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for integration development and deployment.

Collaborate with business units, product owners, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions, while leading the troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex production issues.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in IT or closely related field with minimum 15+ years of working experience in IT Middleware technologies.

Possess strong expertise in IBM ACE and IBM MQ, with over 8 years of experience managing these platforms in large organizations, demonstrating proficiency in High Availability environments, configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and holding relevant certifications.

Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to a team of integration architects and developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions), version control systems (Git), and have a strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, and Linux server environments.
