About the job Technical Officer (Electrical)

Responsibilities

Carry out routine and maintenance programme of all electrical equipment

Perform rectification of faults on the electrical systems

Assisting engineers in carrying out switching and isolation of low voltage equipment

Monitoring and control of contract workers to ensure compliance with technical specifications,

code of practice, scope to work and to enforce safety regulations

Inspections and acceptance of purchased materials and contract spares

Updating of maintenance records

Co-ordination of work with other sections

Repairing faulty electrical instruments and tools

Reporting unsafe conditions/ near miss incidents for rectification

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 0 to 3 years of relevant working experience in maintenance electrical in power or process plants environment

Experience in Power / Process Plant operations will be advantageous
