AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS or Microsoft Azure. The candidate will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring operational stability, supporting incident resolution, and driving continuous improvement of cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

. Manage and support cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS and Azure.

. Monitor cloud environments to ensure availability, performance, security, and reliability.

. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure incidents and service disruptions.

. Perform patching, maintenance, backup, recovery, and operational support activities.

. Implement and maintain cloud security controls and governance requirements.

. Manage cloud resources, costs, and capacity planning.

. Support automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and scripting tools.

. Work closely with project teams, vendors, and customers on cloud-related activities.

. Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation.

. Coach and mentor junior cloud engineers on cloud technologies, operational processes, and troubleshooting techniques.

. Participate in on-call support and major incident management when required.

Mandatory

. Minimum 3 years of IT infrastructure or cloud operations experience.

. At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments.

. Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, compute, storage, and monitoring services.

. Experience with cloud operational support, incident management, and problem management.

. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep.

. Experience with scripting or automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
