Roles & Responsibilities · Design, implement, and manage robust database solutions for various client projects.

· Maintain and optimize Oracle Databases, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

· Provide expertise and support for other database systems, including MySQL and MS SQL Server.

· Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including those related to infrastructure, network, and storage.

· Perform database tuning, capacity planning, backup, and recovery.

· Develop and enforce database standards, best practices, and security policies.

· Collaborate with application developers to design and optimize database schemas and queries.

· Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.

· Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.

· Mentor and provide guidance to junior DBAs and other technical staff.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·  10-15 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with a primary focus on Oracle Database.

· Extensive experience with other database systems such as MySQL and MS SQL Server.

· Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues, including those related to infrastructure, network, and storage.

· Strong understanding of database security, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.

· Oracle Database certification is highly preferred.

· Cloud platform certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly preferred.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
