About the role

A casual Authentic Korean restaurant is looking for a proactive Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join a brand-new kitchen team.

Key responsibilities

Wash, peel, chop ingredients, and assemble components for Korean dishes

Clean cooking equipment, wash dishes, and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness

Receive daily stock deliveries, label ingredients, and ensure proper food rotation (FIFO)

Dispose of waste and follow basic kitchen safety guidelines

About you

Fast learner, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Prior F&B experience is a bonus, but beginners with a positive attitude are welcome

Valid WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course (preferred)

Able to stand for long shifts and handle light lifting

Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
