Senior Java Backend Developer at Peoplebank Asia.

About the role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Java Backend Developer to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing essential backend applications while addressing production challenges. You will play a key part in optimizing system performance and implementing new functionalities.

What you'll do

Maintain and enhance critical backend applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Implement new features to improve system functionality.

Optimize performance of existing systems.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java backend development.

Strong knowledge of Spring framework and RESTful services.

Proficiency in SQL and database management.

Experience with microservices architecture.

Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

Ability to work on-site in Singapore.

Nice to have

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.

Skills & tools

Java, Spring, REST, SQL, microservices, Git.

Practical notes

This position is open to Singaporeans only due to project requirements.
