Settlement Manager

. Oversee and manage trade operations such as trade processing, clearing and settlements for Equities products.

. Monitor the team to ensure trades are settled accurately and in a timely manner.

. Carry out transaction processing (securities, derivatives, corporate action etc).

. Daily reconciliation of securities positions / holdings.

. Identify trade breaks and perform reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies timely as per SLA.

. Review operations processes, recommend any process automation and digitalization.

. Provide guidance to the team and be an escalation point when they are in need of assistance.

. Participate in the development and implementation of new systems, products, and services.

. Identify opportunities, develop strategies, and design execution of projects and initiatives to increase productivity, improve operational efficiency, and cost savings. . Contribute to the strategic development of various initiatives

. Assist new product or system enhancement testing and UAT.

. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in line with new policies & any ongoing risk management activities etc.

. Ensure all internal controls/procedures are updated on a timely basis and adhered to in strict compliance with the regulatory rules.

. Provide appropriate input in all change initiatives, advising potential impact on the current processes, drives change management in coordination with IT to increase automation and controls.

. Participate in projects and ad-hoc tasks assigned from time to time.
