Software Developer (Angular & .NET)

We are looking for an experienced

Software Developer with strong Angular and .NET expertise

to join our development and application support team in a banking environment.

You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting high-quality web applications, working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Delivery

Develop, test, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications using

Angular and .NET

.

Build responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using

Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS

.

Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using

C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET Framework

.

Work with stakeholders to understand business and system requirements.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, and development teams to deliver user stories and solutions.

Perform unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.

Code Quality & Best Practices

Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and testable code.

Conduct code reviews and follow established coding, security, and development standards.

Apply secure coding and performance optimisation practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.

Maintain appropriate technical documentation.

DevOps & Continuous Improvement

Use

Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

throughout the development lifecycle.

Contribute to improving deployment and release processes.

Support configuration management, build automation, and system integration activities.

Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and software development practices.

Essential Requirements

10+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET/C#

.

At least 2 years of hands-on Angular development experience

.

Strong experience with

Angular 19 or above

.

Strong proficiency in

TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS

.

Solid experience with

ASP.NET, .NET Core and/or .NET Framework

.

Experience developing

RESTful APIs and web services

.

Experience with relational databases such as

SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB

, or similar.

Good knowledge of

Git and version control systems

.

Understanding of

CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

.

Experience in

frontend and backend web application development

.

Prior experience in a

banking or financial services environment

is preferred.

Education & Experience

Degree or Diploma in

Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering

, or a related discipline.

Strong software development experience with a proven track record in delivering enterprise applications.

Experience working in Agile development environments and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with modern frontend frameworks and related ecosystems.

Exposure to

AWS, Azure

, or other cloud platforms.

Experience with

Docker and Kubernetes

Knowledge of

microservices architecture

Experience with

Agile methodologies

, such as Scrum or Kanban.

Familiarity with software testing frameworks, including

unit, integration, and E2E testing
