Business Analyst - Python & SQL - Systematic Trading

Responsibilities:

Managing the full project lifecycle for launching new portfolio management teams into production

Designing research and trading solutions that comply with firm-wide standards

Educating portfolio management teams on operating procedures and technology integrations

Leading new strategy rollout initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Technology, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Risk, as well as external partners including brokers, exchanges, and vendors

Providing ongoing operational support for processes such as broker data management, compliance monitoring, trading workflows, and business continuity planning

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science strongly preferred

Approximately 2 years of relevant professional experience is a plus

Ability to support senior team members while independently managing multiple short- and long-term projects under tight deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent time management, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset

Ability to clearly document technical specifications and communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences

Hands-on experience with

Python

and

SQL

; Linux/Unix scripting (e.g., Bash, Perl) is a plus

Experience with database design is advantageous

Exposure to systematic trading across liquid instruments such as global equities, futures, and foreign exchange, as well as macro instruments including bonds, rates, and credit, is preferred but not required

Experience with digital asset exchanges, liquidity providers, derivative products, and business operations is a plus
