Software Application Engineer

Technical Focus:

Role Purpose

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications for client-side deployment. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex business requirements and robust technical execution, ensuring all deliverables meet

100% quality assurance parameters

and performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Requirements Analysis & System Design

Translate Needs:

Analyze client requirements and convert them into feasible, high-performance architectural designs.

Investigate & Solve:

Perform root cause analysis on system issues and investigate problem areas throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Collaboration:

Work closely with functional teams, system analysts, and project managers to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and define performance requirements.

Optimization:

Proactively identify opportunities to improve system performance and impact availability.

2. Software Development & Quality Engineering

Full-Stack Coding:

Perform high-quality coding using

JAX-RS

and

Java

to develop RESTful Web Services.

Validation & Automation:

Design and execute automated test cases/scenarios to ensure all code is bug-free and meets project norms.

System Maintenance:

Modify existing software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, or upgrade interfaces for better usability.

Documentation:

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and clear code comments for all implementations.

3. Client Engagement & Status Reporting

Customer Centricity:

Act as a technical point of contact for clients, ensuring professional business etiquette across email, voice calls, and fault reporting.

Continuous Feedback:

Capture client clarifications and integrate feedback regularly to ensure smooth, on-time project delivery.

Reporting:

Generate timely MIS reports and programming project specifications to keep stakeholders informed of progress and risks.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

Primary Tech Stack:

Advanced proficiency in

JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful Web Services)

and Java.

Experience:

3–5 years in a professional software development environment.

Process Knowledge:

Strong understanding of SDLC, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Deployment (CD) workflows.

Problem Solving:

Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex system queries.

Soft Skills:

Excellent business communication skills and a commitment to '100% on-time' delivery.
