Software Engineer (Emerging Systems)

The Emerging Systems Division focuses research and development on a broad spectrum of capabilities that are critical to the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) defence systems. These include antenna design and electromagnetics, as well as next-wave technologies in the areas of lasers and advanced materials.

Software Engineer (Emerging Systems)

In this role, you will:

Elicit software requirements based on users' needs and design a safe and secure software architecture

Write code which implements the software requirements and design test cases to verify the code

Work closely with the hardware team to carry out integration tests, both in the lab and field

Degree/ Masters in Computer Science/ Computing/ Computer Engineering/ Electrical Engineering

Experience with C/ C++/ C#/ Python programming languages

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Open-minded and comfortable interacting with engineers from other disciplines

Interesting in exploring and developing a variety of software, from embedded software to GUI development
