Senior / Java Developer (AMK)

Job Summary

Develop and maintain software applications by collaborating in design, testing, and deployment activities. Apply best practices to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions while supporting continuous process improvements in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software applications based on functional and technical requirements to meet business needs

Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions to ensure successful delivery

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern development frameworks and technologies for long-term usability

Create and execute unit tests to validate software quality and reliability before release

Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues to maintain optimal system functionality

Collaborate with team members during Agile development activities such as sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives to enhance team productivity

Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and deployment activities under senior engineers' guidance to streamline release processes

Learn and apply software engineering best practices, design patterns, and coding standards to improve code quality

Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and application performance to increase efficiency and user satisfaction

Required competencies and certifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development fundamentals

Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot frameworks

Familiarity with React.js or Vue.js front-end frameworks

Understanding of Git or other source code management tools

Basic knowledge of databases and RESTful APIs

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Self-motivated team player with a willingness to learn and grow

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Exposure to CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices

Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration tools

Experience with microservices architecture

Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Able to start work immediately or on very short notice
