Responsibilities
Develop and enhance software applications with complex functional and high-performance requirements to support business objectives
Analyze system requirements and design technical solutions for software change requests and enhancements to optimize functionality
Execute software integration tests and support system integration and performance testing to ensure quality and reliability
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to maintain system stability and availability
Maintain and update comprehensive software documentation to support development and operational continuity
Apply object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and UML to model software solutions effectively
Utilize software development tools and frameworks including Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JVM, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and SQL Server to build scalable applications
Implement software unit testing to validate code quality and functionality
Employ in-memory data grid technologies such as Oracle Coherence or similar products to enhance application performance
Leverage containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployment and scalability
Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to deliver end-to-end software solutions
Collaborate on-site as required to support project needs and stakeholder engagement
Required competencies and certifications
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JVM, WebLogic, Oracle DB, and SQL Server
Experience developing software applications using in-memory data grids such as Oracle Coherence or similar products
Proficiency in OOAD and UML for software design
Familiarity with software unit testing methodologies
Experience with various software development tools
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes containerization and orchestration technologies
Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
