Software Developer ( Java,Javascript OR Node JS) AMK

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to support system implementation, perform technical analysis, troubleshoot complex issues, document solutions, and collaborate across domains to enhance system quality, maintainability, and stability.

Responsibilities

Support implementation and maintenance of frontend, backend, and supporting system components to ensure system functionality and stability

Participate in feature development, enhancements, defect fixes, testing, and code reviews to deliver high-quality software

Collaborate with development teams to analyze system behavior, identify technical dependencies, and implement effective solutions

Investigate application issues by tracing requests across multiple microservices and system components to identify root causes

Perform root cause analysis for production and development issues to enable timely resolution

Analyze logs, APIs, messaging flows, and database interactions to diagnose and resolve system problems

Provide technical recommendations to improve system performance and reliability

Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams, system flows, APIs, integration documents, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures

Review business requirements to identify ambiguities, missing information, dependencies, and technical risks proactively

Work closely with stakeholders to clarify functional and technical requirements for accurate solution delivery

Participate in solution discussions and impact assessments to support informed decision-making

Required competencies and certifications

Proficient programming skills in

Java, JavaScript, or Node.js

for enterprise application development

Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns to create maintainable code

Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems to support scalable solutions

Experience working with REST APIs and service integrations to enable system interoperability

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex application issues

Ability to analyze logs and trace end-to-end system flows for effective problem diagnosis

Skilled in technical writing to produce clear and detailed documentation

Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases to manage data interactions

Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Solace or Kafka to handle asynchronous communication

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies to collaborate effectively in iterative development

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to facilitate collaboration

MUST Be able to start work immediately or on very short notice

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Experience with Angular framework for frontend development

Experience with Java and Quarkus for backend development

Experience with Oracle Database and advanced SQL

Experience with Keycloak for identity and access management

Experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery

Experience with container technologies such as Docker or Podman for deployment

Experience working on large enterprise or government projects

5 day week @ AMK area
