Job Summary
The Data Entry Clerk transfers daily sales records from Excel into the company database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency through fast typing and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Input customer, purchase descriptions, and operational data from Excel spreadsheets into company databases within specified time limits
Review entered data against source documents to detect and correct errors, duplicates, or missing information
Prepare summary reports, data extracts, or logs for management as required
Follow strict data security and compliance protocols to maintain data privacy and confidentiality
Maintain concentration and accuracy while performing repetitive data entry tasks for extended periods
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent qualification
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to work
