QA Engineer

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Saturday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Working Arrangement:

5.5-day work week

precision engineering and manufacturing company in Singapore , specialising in the production of high-precision components and engineering solutions for customers across various industries. The company is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented

QA Engineer

to support its quality operations and work closely with production, suppliers, and customers to ensure product and process quality.

Job Responsibilities

Perform and oversee product quality inspections in accordance with customer specifications and requirements.

Lead and supervise QC Inspectors in carrying out

incoming, in-process, and outgoing inspections .

Work closely with the Production team to identify, investigate, and resolve quality-related issues.

Liaise with customers and suppliers/vendors regarding quality complaints, feedback, and corrective actions.

Initiate

non-conformance investigations , conduct initial root cause analysis, and follow up on corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans through to closure.

Maintain and manage

Quality Management System (QMS)

documentation and records.

Support and participate in

internal and external quality audits .

Ensure quality procedures and inspection activities are consistently followed in accordance with company and customer requirements.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality.

Perform any other quality-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Diploma or higher in

Engineering or a related discipline .

2–5 years of QA/QC experience

in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a precision engineering.

Able to

read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents .

Good knowledge of

QA/QC techniques, inspection procedures, and quality methodologies .

Working knowledge of

ISO 9001

is required; knowledge of

ISO 13485, AS9100D, or other relevant quality standards

will be an advantage.

Familiarity with

NCR, root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality investigations

is preferred.

Able to lead and supervise QC personnel while working independently when required.
