Cybersecurity & IT Operation Engineer

Job Description

At Cariflex, we specialize in developing, manufacturing and markets specialty polymers and its latex that bring remarkable value and improve lives worldwide. We are on the lookout for a talented and vigilant Cybersecurity & IT Operation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Cybersecurity & IT Operation Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective IT Controls that ensure the integrity, availability, and security of Cariflex's IT systems and business processes. This role bridges IT security operations and internal control management, with focus on SAP and infrastructure environments supporting Cariflex's manufacturing and business operations.

Key member of IT Team that manages the Company's IT infrastructure and services, Cybersecurity, including end-user computing

Manage and govern IT infrastructure services provided by outsourcing partners and managed service providers as assigned including contracts and billing matters

Responsible for IT projects such as system upgrades, digitalization, new property technology implementations and infra related projects and building new IT Infrastructure capabilities

Assist with IT audit management and ensure delivery including providing solutions that complies with internal policies, procedures, standards, and compliance requirements

Document IT Ops procedures and standards, system and network patching, capacity & performance management etc

Lead IT projects such as system upgrades, digitalization initiatives, and new property technology implementations

Establish and enforce ITGC control frameworks and testing procedures aligned with Cariflex's ERP (SAP) and IT infrastructure landscape

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field

Minimum 6 years of experience in IT security, compliance management, IT operation, or related roles

Good project management skills and ability to manage multiple IT projects simultaneously

Experience with IT general controls (ITGC), network security controls, firewalls, and VPNs

Familiar with Active Directory, endpoint protection, and patch management processes in an enterprise environment; experience with Microsoft Azure or Cisco infrastructure technologies is advantageous

Knowledge of SAP in manufacturing environments and plant or factory infrastructure, especially in the chemicals industry, is a plus

Experience with audit or compliance work in manufacturing or chemical industry environments, ISO 27001, and working with internal leadership teams, plant operations management, external auditors, and third-party IT outsourcing partners is preferred

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, SAP, Microsoft Azure or equivalent cloud certifications (e.g., AZ-500) are advantageous
