Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the technical team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of project requirements.
Coordinate structural, architectural finishes, and M&E works with project consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Review, comment on, and submit shop drawings, RFIs, and technical documents in accordance with consultants' design drawings, specifications, and the baseline programme.
Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings and technical documentation, monitoring progress and highlighting delays with clear justification.
Provide technical support to the construction team, addressing site-related technical issues and ensuring alignment with design intent.
Carry out design coordination with consultants and subcontractors to facilitate accurate shop drawing preparation.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes of practice, regulations, contract requirements, and B-Score criteria.
Oversee and report on the overall progress of technical submissions, proactively identifying risks and mitigation measures.
Qualifications & Requirements
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with a strong engineering and design background, gained in a contractor and/or consultant environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate technical teams.
Solid understanding of procurement, engineering, and construction processes.
Strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
