Job Description

Role: Community Coordinator Focus Area: Relationships, Community Management, and Local Outreach

Level of Input: 2 - 3 days/week

Love Frankie, a social impact agency, is convening a project-based business strategy competition designed to accelerate the AI fluency of non-technical professionals in Singapore. The core mission is to empower the workforce with practical AI skills to solve real-world problems and enhance their employability.

This role is the community face of the new initiative. You build relationships, run the events (both virtual and in-person), and make sure the 500 participants and mentors have a great experience.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting and Local Outreach: Establish connections with relevant Singapore-based institutions of higher learning (IHLs) (Jan 2026 - Feb 2026). Lead the effort to get 500 participants (Feb - March 2026), and 50 Industry Partners / SMEs, with support from partners. Manage relationships with local professional groups and universities.

Training and Support Hosting: Host and run the Virtual Bootcamp and all AI Expert Q&A sessions (April 2026). Use email 'nudges' and support groups to encourage participants to submit their work.

Mentorship Support: Manage the scheduling and relationship with Industry Partner mentors during the 3-Week Mentorship Sprint (May 2026).

Public Presence: Provide strategic oversight for the Grand Finale (in-person, June 2026) with our partner's on-ground events team, supporting the public success of the program.

Key Skills Needed

Must Have: Proven experience in community management and building connections in the Singapore market . Strong skills in facilitation, participant communications, and engaging large groups, both virtual and in-person.

Great If You Have: Knowledge of Singapore's professional and school communities (especially the four target sectors). Experience running virtual events.

Personal Style: Energetic, outgoing, great at communication, and excellent at solving problems quickly during an event.
