Responsibilities

We are looking for a

Software Test Engineer

to ensure system reliability, accuracy, and compliance across transaction processing and customer lifecycle workflows.

Execute functional, integration, and user acceptance testing across payment systems;

Validate end-to-end workflows including onboarding, transaction processing, billing, fraud controls, and account management;

Perform testing on transaction messaging flows and backend processing logic;

Support certification and compliance testing with external networks and partners;

Investigate defects, coordinate resolution, and communicate updates to stakeholders;

Work closely with development, business, and QA teams to ensure alignment on testing scope and outcomes;

Develop and execute test cases, and maintain documentation using standard tools;

Perform data validation and analysis using database queries;

Support system integration testing using APIs and related tools;

Contribute to reporting, documentation, and go-live readiness activities.

Requirements

Experience in payment or transaction-based systems;

Strong understanding of transaction lifecycles, account structures, and financial workflows;

Familiarity with testing tools, defect tracking systems, and API testing;

Working knowledge of SQL or similar for data validation;

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;

Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
