System Engineer

Job Summary Contribute to system engineering activities across multidisciplinary domains (electronics, mechanical, optics, firmware, software) to help deliver sensorintelligent products and solutions. Focus on requirements analysis, system integration, verification & validation (V&V), and technical qualification documentation

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for stakeholder requirement analysis and to translate product requirements into system requirements.

Produce system architecture decomposition and maintain interface documentation.

Participate in verification & validation planning and execute system/subsystem tests.

Participate in design reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA inputs, and change control documentation.

Prepare technical documentation including specifications, V&V plans, and test procedures.

Apply basic statistical methods (GR&R, CPK) for test analysis.

Use lab instruments and scripting for test automation and data logging.

Collaborate with Mechanical, Electronics, Firmware, Optical, QA teams throughout product development lifecycle.

Support EMI/EMC, thermal, vibration, and safety-related test plans and precompliance tests.

Contribute to process improvements and maintain good engineering practices.

Job Requirements

Bachelors in Electronics & Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or any other related field of study.

3–6 years in R&D, system engineering, verification, or product development.

Working understanding of sensor principles and multidisciplinary system interactions.

Familiarity with requirements of tools (e.g., Jama) and MBSE artifacts.

Basic statistics knowledge for test analysis.

Handson experience with lab instrumentation and scripting (Python/LabVIEW).

Understanding of EMI/EMC, safety, and environmental compliance considerations.

Strong communication and ability to collaborate across disciplines.

Structured, detailoriented, and able to escalate risks appropriately.
