Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

Packing

Packing shoes that were picked by the pickers into carton boxes

Segregating by shops, category articles and quantity

Marking the outside of the carton boxes using chalks to determine shop, category and quantity

Ensure total quantity picked and packed tally with invoice

Inform Supervisor in the event of any discrepancies

Move cartons using pallet and pallet-jack (MHE) to delivery Zone A, B, C, D accordingly

Ensure packing materials (i.e. empty cartons, packing tape, permanent markers, chalks) are sufficient for the next day

Ensure house-keeping of work-station is observed at all times

Stock Replenishment

Locate empty space to arrange new stocks into the racks for ease of picking

Stacking of shoes by size and articles that were received by the receiving team

Pasting of “buffer” paper indicating size and quantity for the balance stocks

Inform Supervisor upon the completion of above so that he/she can use the forklift to place the “buffer”

Any other warehouse jobs as assigned by your Warehouse Manager

Requirements

Familiar with warehouse operations e.g. receiving, storing and picking

Heavy lifting/manual labor required

Preferably possess a forklift license (Not a must, good to have)

Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is an advantage

Able to start work immediately or within 1 month

Work location - Boon Lay Way (Monday to Friday, 6.45am to 4.30pm)
