Network Support Engineer

As part of a dedicated 24x7 operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, and integrity of a highly available mission‑critical infrastructure. This includes hardware maintenance, preventive and corrective support, software validation, system testing, spare parts management, and ensuring compliance with stringent service level agreements (SLAs).

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy troubleshooting complex infrastructure environments and are passionate about delivering high service availability within a mission‑critical operational environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for an

IT Service Support Engineer

to join a dedicated

24x7 operations team

supporting a highly available, mission‑critical infrastructure environment. The role will focus on system availability, incident response, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, software validation and operational support in accordance with defined service levels.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain the availability, performance and reliability of mission‑critical systems.

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and infrastructure incidents within agreed SLAs.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, system health checks and configuration verification.

Conduct software validation, functional testing and system checks following upgrades, patches and fixes.

Maintain accurate records of incidents, maintenance activities, system configurations and technical documentation.

Manage onsite spare parts, equipment inventory and asset/serviceability records.

Coordinate with vendors for equipment maintenance, calibration and technical support.

Support root‑cause investigations and continuous service improvement initiatives.

Participate in a

24x7 rotating shift and standby/on‑call roster

based on operational requirements.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in

IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline .

1–2 years of experience

in IT infrastructure or technical systems support.

Experience with one or more of:

Windows/Linux, networking, firewalls, VMware/Hyper‑V, Active Directory, UPS, PIM/PAM or hardware troubleshooting .

Familiarity with

ITSM, incident management and change management .

Experience in a

high‑availability or mission‑critical environment

is an advantage.

Strong troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.

Comfortable working in a

24x7 shift environment

and responding to operational requirements.

Working Arrangement

The role follows a rotating schedule of

3 consecutive working days followed by 2 days off, then 2 working days followed by 3 days off , to support continuous operational coverage. Employees may also be required to participate in an

on‑call/standby roster , with requirements communicated based on project and operational needs.
