Full-Stack AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end application development across frontend, backend, database, AI and deployment

Develop scalable applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js

Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services

Design and manage PostgreSQL databases, schemas and migrations

Integrate LLMs and Generative AI APIs into applications

Develop AI features using RAG, structured outputs, tool/function calling and AI agents

Use AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex or equivalent to improve development productivity

Review, test and validate AI-generated code before production

Develop automated tests and troubleshoot application issues

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab

Apply secure development practices covering authentication, authorisation, API security and data protection

Evaluate emerging AI and software engineering technologies

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field

Strong hands-on experience in Full Stack Development

Proficient in React, Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js

Strong experience with REST APIs and PostgreSQL

Experience with GitLab CI/CD and AWS

Practical experience using AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or OpenAI Codex

Experience integrating LLMs / Generative AI APIs is highly preferred

Knowledge of RAG, AI agents, vector search or tool/function calling is an advantage

Familiarity with Docker, Infrastructure as Code and observability is a plus

Strong problem-solving skills with ability to develop, test and deploy applications independently
