Job Description

Responsibilities

. Perform Linux system administration, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuration

. Manage and deploy Logstash pipelines as part of the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) stack

. Configure and manage syslog collection and metrics monitoring across systems

. Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and operational workflows

. Handle Service Requests (SR) and Change Requests (CR) in accordance with IT service management processes

. Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high availability of infrastructure

. Set up and maintain dashboards in Kibana for operational visibility and reporting

Requirements

. Proficient in Linux administration (e.g., RHEL or equivalent)

. Hands-on experience with the ELK stack, particularly Logstash pipeline deployment and Kibana dashboard creation

. Strong understanding of syslog and metrics concepts

. Solid foundational knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subnetting)

. Experience managing SRs and CRs in a structured IT environment

. Scripting skills (e.g., Bash equivalent)

. Able to perform standby duties, including being on-call and responding to after-hours incidents when required
