Application Support / Middleware Engineer Location: Singapore

About the Role

We are looking for an Application Support / Middleware Engineer with experience in Linux, Oracle Database, IBM MQ, and application deployment . You will be responsible for supporting applications in production, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth system operations.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and support applications across different environments.

Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues.

Perform basic Linux administration and monitor server health.

Support Oracle Database activities and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Manage and support IBM MQ , including queues, channels, and listeners.

Monitor applications, databases, servers, and middleware.

Perform incident troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Support application releases, upgrades, and changes.

Use Shell/Bash scripting for basic automation.

Work with different technical teams to resolve production issues.

Maintain technical documentation and SOPs.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Application Support / Production Support / Middleware Support .

Good hands-on experience with Linux/Unix .

Experience with IBM MQ administration and troubleshooting .

Knowledge of Oracle Database and SQL .

Experience in application deployment and release support .

Basic Shell/Bash scripting knowledge.

Good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Experience working in an enterprise/production environment.

CI/CD knowledge

ITIL / Incident & Change Management

Experience with monitoring tools

Banking or financial services experience
