Job Description

Responsibilities Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN) & security (FW, NAC) solutions tailored to client needs

Configure and install routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls and other network devices

Monitor network performance and integrity, ensuring high availability and reliability

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues escalated by support teams

Communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Propose and implement improvements to network performance, security, capacity, and scalability

Participate in project deployments, ensuring seamless integration and implementation of network & security solutions

Skills and Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in the networking field, preferably with a systems integrator

Hands-on experience with wired and wireless networking deployment

Experience with ClearPass is a must

Well-versed with the different types of network routing and switching technology.

Knowledge of wireless technology and products.

Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role

In-depth knowledge of best practices in network management, control, security, and monitoring

Good experience with firewalls, VPNs, remote implementations, and troubleshooting

The ability to set up and configure server hardware will be an added advantage

Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
