IT Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities Develop reliable and maintainable software.

Follow coding and engineering standards.

Review requirements and provide technical feedback.

Design and build cloud-native applications.

Provide project estimates and join Agile/Scrum meetings.

Maintain technical documentation.

Support non-functional testing.

Conduct design and code reviews.

Guide junior team members.

Provide Level 3 production support.

Investigate and resolve application issues.

Work with vendors on technical deliverables.

Review vendor solutions and ensure they meet company standards.

Requirements Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience in Java/J2EE and cloud-native development .

At least 3-4 years of experience with cloud-native development, Docker and Kubernetes .

Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.

Experience with streaming technologies or Hadoop is an advantage.

Functional Skills Understanding of payment processing and cash management systems.

Good knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience with Agile and Scrum.

Knowledge of software design methods.

Experience with payment processing systems is an advantage.

Experience working with complex and distributed systems.

Technical Skills Strong experience with Java/J2EE .

Strong knowledge of Spring Framework , including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Integration and IoC.

Experience with Spark Streaming or similar tools.

Knowledge of messaging platforms such as IBM MQ, RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka .

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Helm, Argo CD, Jenkins, GitLab Runner, Nexus, Harbor, Maven or Gradle .

Experience with GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket .

Experience with TDD/BDD and testing tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Selenium or SoapUI.

Knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL .

Knowledge of HBase and MongoDB is an advantage.

Knowledge of application design, development, testing, deployment and support.

Experience with UML and impact assessment.

Experience with Shell scripting and tools such as Ansible.

Experience with performance tuning and fault-tolerant systems.

Knowledge of Go, Rust or Python is an advantage.
