About the role

We are seeking a dedicated

Data Analyst

to join NORVEXA PTE. LTD. in a full-time capacity, based in the Sembawang North Region. This role is pivotal to our organisation's data-driven decision-making processes and strategic initiatives. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business value across the company. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs, extract meaningful patterns, and present findings in a clear, compelling manner. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business operations whilst utilising advanced analytical and database skills.

Key responsibilities

Collect, process, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness

Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support analytical requirements and business operations

Create and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from complex database structures

Perform statistical analysis and trend identification to uncover actionable insights from large datasets

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using data visualisation tools to communicate findings to stakeholders

Document data processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing

Collaborate with business teams to identify data requirements and develop tailored analytical solutions

Monitor data quality and implement procedures to maintain database integrity

Support the optimisation of database performance and efficiency

Provide recommendations based on analytical findings to support strategic decision-making

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

Proven experience working with relational databases and strong proficiency in SQL

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and database architecture

Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or JavaScript for data analysis and manipulation

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality

Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools

Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is advantageous

Certifications in database administration, data analytics, or related fields are desirable
